Evaluation of Reflective Practice Ability of Nurses and Its Influencing Factors

Abstract：Objective To investigate the current status of reflective practice ability of nurses in tertiary grade A general hospitals,and to analyze on its influencing factors.Methods From August to December 2022,a total of 1 840 nurses from 9 tertiary grade A general hospitals were selected as the research objects.A cross-sectional survey was conducted by general data questionnaire and Chinese version of reflective practice questionnaire(RPQ).The total RPQ scores and various dimensional scores of nurses were compared among different characteristics.The influencing factors of RPQ total score and various dimension scores were analyzed through multiple linear regression analysis.Results The total RPQ score of nurses was(155.92±21.96)scores.Time of service,critical thinking,sense of work achievement,further education experience,specialized nurses,organizational innovation atmosphere,and professional interests were the factors that affect the total QPR score of nurses(P＜0.05).Critical thinking,sense of work achievement,further education experience,specialized nurses,organizational innovation atmosphere and professional interests were all factors that affect nurses' reflective practice ability and improvement intention scores(P＜0.05).Time of service,critical thinking,sense of work achievement,further education experience,specialized nurses,organizational innovation atmosphere and professional interests were all factors that affect nurses' confidence(P＜0.05).Departments,time of service,critical thinking,sense of sense of work achievement,specialized nurses,organizational innovation atmosphere and professional interests were all factors that affect nurses' job satisfaction(P＜0.05).Age,time of service,critical thinking,academic activities,work achievement,reading time,further education experience,specialized nurses,organizational innovation atmosphere and professional interests were all factors that affect nurses' reflective sensitivity scores(P＜0.05).Writing reflection logs,academic activities,further education experiences,specialized nurses,organizational innovation atmosphere and professional interests were all factors that affect the pressure of nurses' reflection practice(P＜0.05).Conclusion The reflective practical ability of nurses needs to be improved,and time of service,critical thinking,sense of work achievement,further education experience,specialized nurses,organizational innovation atmosphere,and professional interests are all influencing factors.
