Abstract:Objective To explore the correlation between of immunoglobulin A(IgA)content with serum immunoglobulin E(IgE),eosinophils(EOS),arterial partial pressure of oxygen(PaO2),and lung function in patients with acute exacerbation of bronchial asthma. Methods Sixty-two patients with acute exacerbation of bronchial asthma who visited the General Hospital of Hebi Coal Industry(Group)Co.,Ltd.from June 2021 to June 2023 were selected as the observation group.According to the severity of the patients' condition, they were divided into mild group(36 cases),moderate group(17 cases),and severe group(9 cases). There were 48 healthy individuals who underwent physical examinations during the same period were selected as the control group. The research subjects IgA,IgE,EOS,PaO2,and lung function indicators were compared, and Pearson correlation analysis was used to investigate the relationship between IgA and IgE,EOS,PaO2,and lung function indicators in patients with acute exacerbation of bronchial asthma. Results Compared with the control group, the observation group had lower levels of IgA,PaO2,and lung function indicators, while higher levels of IgE and EOS(P<0.05).The levels of IgA,PaO2,and lung function indicators in the mild group were higher than those in the moderate and severe groups, while IgE and EOS indicators were lower than those in the moderate and severe groups(P<0.05).The patient's IgA level was negatively correlated with IgE and EOS,positively correlated with PaO2,and not correlated with lung function indicators. Conclusion IgA content in patients with acute exacerbation of bronchial asthma is closely related to serum IgE,EOS,and PaO2,but has no obvious correlation with lung function indexes. The combined test of IgA,IgE,EOS,PaO2,and lung function indexes can provide a comprehensive reflection of the severity of the disease in patients with asthma, thus laying the basis for the reasonable prevention and treatment.
