Abstract:Objective To explore the expression and clinical significance of serum angiopoietin-2(Ang-2),immunoglobulin(Ig)A,and IgM in patients with chronic hepatitis B(CHB)and liver failure(LF).Methods A total of 86 patients with CHB and LF who were admitted in Henan Provincial People's Hospital from March 2022 to May 2024 were selected as the CHB-LF group, and another 86 patients with pure CHB during the same period were selected as the CHB group. The serum Ang-2,IgA,and IgM levels of the two groups were compared, and univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were used, drawing receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves and evaluate the predictive value of the above indicators for LF.Results In comparison of the CHB group, the serum Ang-2,IgA,and IgM levels in the CHB-LF group were higher(P<0.05).The results of multiple logistic regression analysis showed that Ang-2(OR=5.263),IgA(OR=2.118),and IgM(OR=2.035)were independent risk factors for LF(P<0.05).The ROC curve shows that the areas under the curve for serum Ang-2,IgA,IgM levels and combined test prediction of LF are 0.781,0.764,0.786,and 0.918,respectively.Conclusion Serum Ang-2,IgA,and IgM levels are highly expressed in CHB and LF patients, and combined testing has high predictive value for CHB with LF.
