Abstract:Objective To explore the current status and influencing factors of family resilience of main caregivers of children with congenital microtia. Methods A total of 76 children with congenital microtia treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from May 2023 to May 2024 and their main caregivers were included in the study. The general data of the children and their main caregivers were collected. The Zarit caregiver burden interview(ZBI)was used to assess the care burden of the children's main caregivers, the mental resilience level was assessed using the 14-item resilience scale(RS-14),and the health literacy level was assessed using the health literacy scale for chronic patients(HLSCP),and the family hardiness index(FHI)was used to assess the family hardiness level.Single factor analysis and multiple linear regression analysis were used to analyze the risk factors affecting the family resilience of the main caregivers of children with congenital microtia. Results Single factor analysis, multiple linear regression results show that the high degree of malformation, combined hearing impairment of children, and the high per capita income of primary caregivers, mental adjustment training or health training, and low caregiver burden were the influencing factors affecting family resilience of primary caregivers of children with congenital microtia(P<0.05).Conclusion The family resilience level of the main caregivers of children with congenital microtia is affected by many factors of the children and the main caregivers themselves.Clinical medical and nursing staff should strengthen the attention of the children and their caregivers, and improve the family resilience level of the main caregivers of children by giving targeted nursing,so as to further accelerate the rehabilitation of children.
