Hospitalization Expenses Analysis and Cost Control Strategies of Patients with Gestational Hypertension Based on DIP

Abstract：Objective To study the effect of diagnosis-intervention packet(DIP)reform on the changes of hospitalization costs and cost structure of hypertensive patients during pregnancy.Methods In this study,1 825 patients with gestational hypertension before the DIP payment reform(from January 1,2021 to June 30,2022)and after the DIP payment reform(from July 1,2022 to December 31,2023)in the Third Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University were selected as the research objects,and relevant hospitalization cost data were collected from the hospital's medical records homepage system.The new grey correlation and structural change analysis were used to quantitatively analyze the basic situation,diagnosis and treatment situation,cost structure change and correlation degree of the two groups of patients.Results After DIP reform,the total hospitalization cost of hypertensive patients during pregnancy was reduced by 17.69％.Among them,nursing expenses were the most correlated,followed by western medicine expenses.From the perspective of structural change,western medicine fee,general medical service fee and surgical disposable material fee were the largest contribution among the three expenditures,reaching 64.79％in total.From the perspective of positive changes,general medical service fee,laboratory diagnosis fee and imaging diagnosis fee were the biggest contributions.Conclusion The reform of DIP payment mode can reduce the hospitalization cost of hypertensive patients during pregnancy and further optimize the structure of hospitalization cost.The DIP reform has a positive effect on optimizing the economic benefits of hospitalization for hypertensive patients during pregnancy.
