Abstract:Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of endoscopic treatment for microrectal neuroendocrine tumor. Methods The clinical situation of 75 patients with microrectal neuroendocrine tumor who underwent endoscopic surgery in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2017 to December 2023 was reviewed. All patients underwent endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD)treatment, and the endoscopic features, prognosis, complications and pathological review were analyzed. Results All 75 patients in this group successfully completed ESD,the mean operation time was(25.84±2.13)minutes,and the postoperative hospitalization were(5.24±1.08)days.The whole resection rate reached 100%,all lesions were confirmed by histopathological biopsy, and there was no lesion involvement in the base and lateral incisal margins. There was 1 case of delayed massive bleeding after surgery,no perforation, infection and so on.Through pathological examination, there were 58 cases of G1 stage and 17 cases of G2 stage in this group. No cases of recurrence and metastasis were found after 1 to 24 months of postoperative treatment. Conclusion The application of ESD in the treatment of small rectal neuroendocrine tumor within 10 mm and intruding on the musculi propria has a definite effect and few postoperative complications, which is of great significance.
