Current Situation and Influencing Factors of Community Nurses' Disaster Preparedness in 12 Community Institutions in Zhengzhou City

Abstract:Objective To investigate the current situation of community nurses' disaster preparedness in 12 community institutions in Zhengzhou City and identify its influencing factors to provide a scientific reference for improving their theory and skills related disaster and carrying out relevant training.Methods Using the convenience sampling method and using the"Nurse Disaster Preparedness Scale",in February to March 2023,a total of 102 community nurses were selected as survey subjects from the 12 community health service centers affiliated to the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University with an anonymous questionnaire survey.The main influencing factors were analyzed by multiple linear regression analysis.Results The total disaster preparedness score of community nurses was(203.59±41.47)points,and the average score of the items was(4.53±0.62)points,indicating that the disaster preparedness was at a medium level.The scores of each dimension were successively from high to low:disaster knowledge,post-disaster management,and disaster response.The results of multi-factor linear regression analysis showed that education level,disaster drill experience and self-perception were the main influencing factors of disaster preparedness of community nurses(P<0.05).Conclusion The disaster preparedness of community nurses is in the middle level,and there is still room to improve the disaster preparedness.
