Expression of BCSG1,LZTS1,and Vasculogenic Mimicry in Breast Cancer Tissues and Their Association with Postoperative Local Recurrence

Abstract：Objective To analyze the relationship between the expression of breast cancer-special gene1(BCSG1),leucine zipper tumor suppressor gene 1(LZTS1),vasculogenic mimicry(VM)in breast cancer cancer and local recurrence after surgery.Methods A total of 308 patients with breast cancer who were treated with breast conserving surgery in Xuchang Central Hospital from September 2018 to September 2020 were selected to detect the expression of BCSG1,LZTS1 and VM in cancer tissues and adjacent tissues,and analyze their relationship with clinical pathology.The 3-year postoperative local recurrence rate of patients with different BCSG1,LZTS1 and VM expression was compared,and its relationship with postoperative local recurrence was analyzed.Results The positive expression rates of BCSG1 and VM in cancer tissues were higher than those in adjacent tissues,while the positive expression rate of LZTS1 was lower than that in adjacent tissues(P＜0.05).The positive rates of BCSG1 expression,LZTS1 negative expression,and VM positive expression in axillary lymph node status in cancer tissue were higher than those of BCSG1 negative expression,LZTS1 positive expression,and VM negative expression(P＜0.05).The postoperative local recurrence rate of BCSG1 positive,LZTS1 negative,and VM positive patients was higher than that of BCSG1 negative,LZTS1 positive,and VM negative patients(P＜0.05).Cox regression analysis showed that the positive expression of BCSG1,the negative expression of LZTS1 and the positive expression of VM were the factors influencing the local recurrence of breast cancer patients after surgery,regardless of other factors(P＜0.05).Conclusion Overexpression of BCSG1,VM and low expression of LZTS1 are associated with local recurrence of breast cancer after operation.
