Abstract:Objective To explore the prognostic factors of medulloblastoma in children and construct a nomogram based on these factors. Methods The clinical data of 55 children with medulloblastoma admitted to the Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2010 to December 2020 were retrospectively analyzed. The influencing factors of tumor survival were screened by Cox regression and least absolute shrinkage and selection operator(LASSO)regression to construct a nomogram, and its accuracy and effectiveness were verified by receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve and the area under curve(AUC),and the clinical application value was evaluated by drawing the decision curve analysis(DCA)curve. Results The analysis results suggested that radiotherapy, dissemination, the expression of S100 and Ki67 were prognostic factors(P<0.05),and a nomogram was constructed accordingly. The AUC of the 3-year and 5-year overall survival rates in the training group was 0.971,and the AUC values of the 3-year and 5-year overall survival rates in the test group were 1.000.The DCA curve indicated that the nomogram was highly effective in clinical application. Conclusion The nomogram of medulloblastoma in children can accurately predict the 3-year and 5-year overall survival rates.
