Abstract:Objective To explore the mediating effect of negative cognitive emotion regulation on fear disease progression and social distancing in patients with bladder cancer after surgery. Methods Ninety-five patients with bladder cancer who received surgical treatment in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2022 to May 2023 were selected as the objects of this study.General data questionnaire, fear disease progression scale(FoP-Q-SF),negative cognitive emotion regulation style subscale, and general alienation scale(GSA)were used to investigate 95 patients with bladder cancer after surgery.Pearson correlation was used to analyze the correlation between fear disease progression, negative cognitive emotion regulation and social distancing in patients with bladder cancer after surgery, and structural equation model was constructed with AMOS 24.0 statistical software to analyze the mediating effect of negative cognitive emotion regulation on fear disease progression and social distancing in patients with bladder cancer after surgery. Results Among the 95 postoperative patients with bladder cancer in this study, the total score of fear of disease progression was(37.30±6.58)points.The proportion of patients with a total score ≥34 points was 61.05%(58/95).The total score of negative cognitive emotion regulation was(38.13±7.49)points,and the total score of social alienation was(38.82±6.66)points.Pearson correlation analysis showed that negative cognitive emotion regulation in postoperative patients with bladder cancer was positively correlated with fear of disease progression and positively correlated with social alienation(r=0.552,0.502,P<0.05).Fear of disease progression was positively correlated with social alienation(r=0.452,P<0.05).The mediation model test of negative cognitive emotion regulation was conducted by Bias-Corrected Bootstrap, and the results showed that:negative cognitive emotion regulation has a partial mediating effect(P<0.001)between fear disease progression and social alienation.Among them, the mediating effect(ab)=0.456 ×0.488=0.223,the direct effect(c')=0.410,and the total effect(c)=0.633.Conclusion Social distancing in patients with bladder cancer after surgery is at a medium high level, and fear disease progression can directly predict social distancing.Negative cognitive emotion regulation has a partial mediating effect between fear disease progression and social distancing.
