Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of anesthesia induction of low dose esketamine combined with propofol in painless gastroscopy for elderly patients. Methods A total of 100 elderly patients receiving painless gastroscopy in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from October 2023 to May 2024 were selected as research objects.According to random number table method, they were divided into observation group and control group, with 50 cases in each group. The anesthesia induction of the control group was fentanyl combined with propofol, and the observation group was low-dose esketamine combined with propofol. The hemodynamic indicators were compared pre-anesthesia(T0),at the beginning of examination(T,),lens through glottis(T2),at the end of examination(T3)and 5 minutes after examination(T4).The time of onset of anesthesia, recovery time, time of leaving the anesthesia room and adverse events were recorded. Results At T,-T3 time points, heart rate(HR)in observation group was higher than control group(P<0.05).At T,-T4 time points, mean arterial pressure(MAP)and pulse oxygen saturation(SpO2)in observation group were higher than control group(P<0.05).The time of onset of anesthesia, recovery time, time of leaving the anesthesia room in observation group were lower than the control group, and the utilization rate of vasoactive drugs in the observation group(1 case,2.00%)was also significantly lower than that in the control group(8 cases,16.00%)(P<0.05).The adverse event rates of hypotension and physical activity in the observation group(6.00%and 0)was lower than those in the control group(22.00%and 12.00%)(P<0.05).Conclusion The low dose esketamine combined with propofol anesthesia induction program had a good anesthetic effect, could reduce the hemodynamic indexes of fluctuation of HR,MAP and SpO2 during the operation of painless gastroscopy in the elderly patients, accelerate the recovery of function after anesthesia, and reduce the occurrence of adverse events, and had a high safety.
