Abstract:Objective To explore the potential categories of self-management behavior in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients and analyze the main influencing factors. Methods By convenience sampling method,266 patients with type 2 diabetes treated in Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University were selected as the research objects.General data questionnaire,self-management behavior scale, chronic disease resource questionnaire and multi-dimensional fatigue scale were used to investigate them.Potential category analysis was used to identify potential categories of self-management characteristics in patients with type 2 diabetes, and multiple logistic regression analysis was used to explore the influencing factors of different categories. Results The self-management behavior score of 266 patients with type 2 diabetes was(42.48±10.8)points.The self-management behavior of type 2 diabetes patients could be divided into low diet and exercise management group(31.2%),low monitoring foot care management group(36.5%)and high behavior management group(32.3%).The results of disordered multiple logistic regression analysis showed that gender,complications,multi-dimensional fatigue score and chronic disease resource utilization were the influencing factors of potential categories of self-management behavior in type 2 diabetes patients(P<0.05).Conclusion The self-management behavior of type 2 diabetes patients has obvious heterogeneity. It is recommended that medical staff implement targeted intervention measures for patients of different self-management categories,in order to improve the level of self-management behavior of patients.
