Construction of an Intervention Plan for Medical Seeking Behavior of Elderly Stroke Patients Based on the Health Belief Model

Abstract:Objective The purpose of this study is to construct a set of intervention programs for elderly stroke patients based on the health belief model,which provides theoretical support and practical reference for the development of personalized health management programs in medical institutions.Methods This study used a combination of the literature analysis method and the expert correspondence method to construct an intervention program based on the health belief model as the theoretical framework.Results In this study,after two rounds of expert correspondence,the authority coefficient of experts was 0.847.In the first round of expert correspondence,the importance of primary indicators,secondary indicators,and tertiary criteria were 4.69±0.58,4.53±0.47,and 4.57±0.40,respectively,and the coefficient of Kendall's concordance was 0.124,0.145,and 0.122,respectively.In the second round of expert correspondence,the primary indicators,secondary indicators and tertiary criteria were 4.60±0.55,4.73±0.38,4.82±0.30,and Kendall's harmony coefficients were 0.222,0.191,and 0.176,respectively.The constructed intervention program contained 5 primary indicators,12 secondary indicators,and 25 tertiary indicators.Conclusion The medical care behavior intervention program for elderly stroke patients based on health belief model constructed in this study not only has high theoretical value,but also has wide applicability in clinical application,providing theoretical support and practical reference for medical institutions to develop personalized health management programs.
