Abstract:Objective To understand the status of learned helplessness in maintenance hemodialysis patients and analyze its influencing factors. Methods Using the convenient sampling method,216 patients who underwent maintenance hemodialysis in Zhengzhou University Central Hospital from January to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects, and were investigated with the general information questionnaire, learned helplessness scale(LHS),adaptation partnership growth affection and resolve(APGAR)and the hemodialysis self-management instrument(HDSMI).Results The total score of learned helplessness scale in maintenance hemodialysis patients was(64.41±8.16)points.Spearman correlation analysis showed that there was a negative correlation between learned helplessness and family care scores in maintenance hemodialysis patients(r=-0.468,P<0.05),and a negative correlation with self-management scores(r=-0.411,P<0.05).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that gender, monthly income per capita,self-management and family care were the influencing factors of learned helplessness in maintenance hemodialysis patients(P<0.05).Conclusion The score of learned helplessness in maintenance hemodialysis patients is at a high level, which suggests that medical staff should pay attention to the evaluation of the level of learned helplessness in hemodialysis patients, focus on women and patients with poor family conditions, and take active clinical intervention measures to improve the level of family care and self-management ability of patients,so as to reduce their level of learned helplessness.
