Abstract:Objective To investigate influencing factors in patients with dental implants. Methods A total of 266 patients with dental implants treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from December 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the observation group, and 100 healthy dental volunteers were selected as the control group.According to presence or absence of peri-implant diseases at 3 months after implantation, patients in observation group were divided into occurrence group and non-occurrence group. The risk factors of peri-implant diseases in patients with dental implants were explored by logistic regression analysis. Results In the 266 patients, incidence of peri-implant diseases was 25.19%(67/266)at 3 months after implantation. There were significant differences in gender, smoking, drinking, food impaction, diabetes mellitus, severe periodontitis, gingivitis, implant platform, soft tissues, sulcus probing depth(SPD)and plaque index(PLI)between occurrence group and non-occurrence group(P<0.05).The results of logistic regression analysis showed that smoking(OR=2.277),severe periodontitis(OR=2.221),food impaction(OR=2.396),bone-level implant(OR=3.010)and high level of PLI(OR=2.782)were risk factors of peri-implant diseases(P<0.05).Conclusion The oral status is declined in patients with dental implants within 3 months after implantation.Smoking, severe periodontitis, food impaction,bone-level implant and high level of PLI are risk factors of peri-implant diseases.
