Abstract:Objective To compare the effects of intravitreal injection of conbercept and lucentis 3+PRN on visual acuity, intraocular pressure(IOP)and macular degeneration in patients with polypoid choroidal vasculopathy(PCV).Methods A total of 80 patients with PCV admitted to the Second People's Hospital of Zhengzhou From January 2020 to December 2022 were selected and divided into conbercept group and lucentis group by random number table method,40 cases in each group. After 3+PRN treatment, followed up for 12 months, the clinical efficacy, best corrected visual acuity(BCVA),central macular thickness(CMT),IOP,sub-foveal choroidal thickness(SFCT),complications, and polyp lesion reduction were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate in conbercept group was slightly higher than that in lucentis group, but with no statistical difference(P>0.05).After 3 months and 12 months of treatment,BCVA,SFCT and CMT in conbercept group were obviously lower than those in lucentis group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).During the treatment period and 12-month follow-up period, there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of complications and the reduction rate of polyp lesions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The short and long term efficacy of conbercept and lucentis intravitreal injection in pcv patients is similar, with few complications, but conbercept has obvious advantages in improving macular lesions and improving visual acuity level, and it is recommended to use conbercept in clinical treatment.
