Abstract:Objective To investigate the influencing factors of infection after horizontal partial laryngectomy in patients with early supraglottic laryngeal carcinoma. Methods A total of 142 patients with early supraglottic laryngeal cancer who underwent elective horizontal partial laryngectomy in the the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the study subjects.Baseline data, laboratory indicators, and postoperative infection incidence were collected.Logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of infection after horizontal partial laryngectomy in patients with early supraglottic laryngeal cancer. Results Among 142 patients with early supraglottic laryngeal cancer,115 cases had no infection after horizontal partial laryngectomy, and 27 cases had infection, with an incidence of 19.01%.The age,the proportion of diabetes, the operation time, the proportion of ventilator use in the occurrence group were higher than those in the non occurrence group, and the levels of CD4+,CD4+/CD8+,and albumin were lower than those in the non occurrence group(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that age, diabetes, operation time,CD4+,CD4+/CD8+were the influencing factors of infection in patients with early supraglottic laryngeal cancer after partial laryngectomy(P<0.05).Conclusion Age,diabetes, operation time,CD4+,CD4+/CD8+levels are the influencing factors of infection after horizontal partial laryngectomy in patients with early supraglottic carcinoma.
