Incidence and Influencing Factors of Pulmonary Tuberculosis Among Psychiatric Inpatients in a Certain Hospital from 2013 to 2023 in Neurosurgery

Abstract：Objective To investigate the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis among psychiatric inpatients in the Seventh People's Hospital of Anyang and to explore the influencing factors of pulmonary tuberculosis among psychiatric inpatients.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted to collect clinical data of 2 500 hospitalized psychiatric patients from 2013 to 2023.According to the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis in patients,they were divided into an occurrence group(138 cases)and a non occurrence group(2 362 cases).The baseline data questionnaire was designed to collect the clinical data of the patients,and the influencing factors of pulmonary tuberculosis in psychiatric inpatients were analyzed by univariate and multivariate logistic regression.Results There were statistical significant differences in age,diabetes,smoking history,chronic pulmonary disease,pulmonary tuberculosis history,tuberculosis contact history and nutritional status between the occurrence group and the non occurrence group(P＜0.05).There was no statistical difference in other aspects between the two groups(P＞0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age≥60 years,diabetes,smoking history,chronic pulmonary disease,tuberculosis history,tuberculosis exposure history,malnutrition were the risk factors for the occurrence of pulmonary tuberculosis in psychiatric inpatients(OR＞1,P＜0.05).Conclusion The incidence rate of pulmonary tuberculosis in psychiatric inpatients is at a high level,and the risk factors are age≥60 years old,diabetes,smoking history,chronic pulmonary disease,tuberculosis history,tuberculosis exposure history,and poor nutrition.
