Abstract:Objective To investigate the status quo of delayed medical decision making in patients with acute coronary syndrome(ACS)and analyze its influencing factors. Methods A total of 262 patients with ACS who were treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from June 2020 to May 2021 were selected as the research objects by convenient sampling method. The decision delay was defined as 60 min,the time>60 min from the patient's identification of symptoms to seeking medical help.General data questionnaire,ACS response index scale and health literacy scale of chronic disease patients were used to investigate decision delay and analyze its influencing factors. Results The decision delay time of 262 patients with ACS was 312.50(58.00,1 254.50)min.Delayed medical decision(>60 min)in 206 cases, accounting for 78.63%;there was no delay(<60 min)in 56 cases, accounting for 21.37%.There were significant differences in age, onset time,ACS response index and health literacy between delayed group and non-delayed group(P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that time of onset,ACS response index(belief),health literacy and age were the influencing factors of delayed medical decision in ACS patients(P<0.01).Conclusion The delay time of medical decision making in ACS patients is generally at a high level, and the time of onset,ACS response index(belief),health literacy and age are the influencing factors of delayed medical decision making in ACS patients.
