Application Value of Xpert Mycobacterium Tuberculosis/Rifampicin Drug-Resistant Bacteria Detection in Tuberculosis Diagnosis

Abstract：Objective To investigate the diagnostic efficacy of Xpert Mycobacterium tuberculosis/rifampicin drug-resistant bacteria detection(MTB/RIF)in patients with suspected pulmonary tuberculosis.Methods Combined with the results of etiology and imaging diagnosis,a total of 248 patients with suspected pulmonary tuberculosis admitted to Zhengzhou People's Hospital and Zhengzhou Central Hospital from January to December 2021 were selected as the research subjects,and sputum or alveolar lavage fluid was retained for culture,Xpert MTB/RIF,acid-fast staining and liquid-based bacterial smear staining,and the diagnostic efficacy of Xpert MTB/RIF in patients suspected of pulmonary tuberculosis was evaluated.Results Among the 248 participants,122 cases were finally diagnosed as tuberculosis.The sensitivity of liquid culture of MTB,Xpert MTB/RIF,acid-fast staining smear and liquid-based bacterial staining for the diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis were 54.10％,97.54％,7.38％and 16.39％,respectively,and specificity was 98.41％,98.41％,95.24％and 93.65％,respectively.The sensitivity of the Xpert MTB/RIF test results was better than that of the other three detection methods,and the missed detection rate was the lowest.Conclusion Xpert MTB/RIF detection can improve the positive detection rate of MTB,which is beneficial for the early diagnosis and effective prevention and control of tuberculosis.It has practical clinical application value.
