Meta-Analysis of Arthrography in Separation of Distal Humerus Epiphysis in Children

Abstract：Objective To investigate the application of arthrography in the separation of distal humeral epiphysis in children,and to evaluate its effect and value through meta-analysis.Methods By searching Wanfang Database,VIP Database,CNKI,Ringer,SpringerLink,Google Scholar,PubMed and other databases,and using Review Manager 5.3 software for meta-analysis.The arthrography examination group was considered as the experimental group and routine X-ray group as the control group,the differences in preoperative misdiagnosis and postoperative complications between the two groups were compared.Results A total of 10 English literature,36 Chinese literature,and 8 standard literature were screened,and meta-analysis showed that the misdiagnosis rate in the experimental group was reduced(OR=0.20,95％CI:0.08-0.50,P＜0.001,I2=0).Postoperative complications were reduced(OR=0.10,95％CI:0.03-0.35,P＜0.001,I2=0).Conclusion Elbow arthrography has obvious advantages in the diagnosis and treatment of distal humeral epiphyseal separation in children,which is worthy of promotion.
