Relationship Between Plasma IFN-γ,IL-2,Peripheral Blood T Lymphocyte Subsets,NK Cells and Clinical Stage in Patients with Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma

Abstract：Objective To investigate the relationship between plasma interferon γ(IFN-γ)and interleukin-2(IL-2)levels,T lymphocyte subsets and natural killer(NK)cells in peripheral blood and clinical stage in patients with diffuse large B cell lymphoma(DLBCL).Methods A total of 198 DLBCL patients admitted to the Third Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Traditional Chinese medicine from December 2020 to December 2022 were enrolled and divided into stage Ⅰgroup(31 cases),stage Ⅱ group(56 cases),stage Ⅲgroup(59 cases)and stage Ⅳgroup(52 cases)according to clinical stage.The levels of plasma IFN-γ,IL-2 and peripheral blood CD3+,CD3+CD4+T,CD3+CD8+T and NK cells in the four groups were compared,and the correlation between each index and DLBCL stage was analyzed.Results The plasma levels of IFN-γ and IL-2 in stageⅢandⅣgroups were lower than those in stageⅠand stageⅡgroups(P＜0.05).The levels of peripheral blood CD3+,CD3+CD4+T,CD3+CD8+T and NK cells in stage Ⅲ and Ⅳ groups were lower than those in stage Ⅰ and stage Ⅱ groups(P＜0.05).In DLBCL patients,IFN-γand IL-2 were positively correlated with the levels of CD3+,CD3+CD4+T,CD3+CD8+T and NK cells(P＜0.05).The levels of plasma IFN-γ,IL-2 and peripheral blood CD3+,CD3+CD4+T,CD3+CD8+T and NK cells in DLBCL patients were negatively correlated with clinical stage(P＜0.05).The increased levels of IFN-γ,IL-2,CD3+,CD3+CD4+T,CD3+CD8+T and NK cells were protective factors to control the advanced clinical stage(P＜0.05).Conclusion The clinical stage of DLBCL patients is correlated with the levels of plasma IFN-γ,IL-2,T lymphocyte subsets and NK cells in peripheral blood,and the levels of plasma IFN-γand IL-2 are correlated with T lymphocyte subsets and NK cells.These indicators are expected to predict the risk of progression of DLBCL.
