Diagnostic Value of Corrected TIMI Frame Count for Coronary Microvascular Function

Abstract：Objective To explore the relationship between corrected TIMI frame count and coronary microvascular function and its diagnostic value for coronary microvascular function.Methods From September 2020 to September 2021,a total of 253 patients who were admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University for symptoms of myocardial ischemia and coronary angiography without significant obstructive lesion were divided into coronary microvascular disease(CMVD)group(CFR＜2)and non-CMVD group(CFR≥2)according to coronary flow reserve(CFR).General data and the corrected TIMI frame count(CTFC)of the left anterior descending branch were recorded.The correlation between CTFC,biomarkers and CFR were analyzed by correlation analysis.Logistic regression analysis were used to evaluate influencing factors of CFR,and receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve analyses were used to evaluate the diagnostic value of CTFC for CMVD.Results The CTFC of left anterior descending branch in CMVD group was higher than than of non-CMVD group.The correlation analysis showed that there were positive correlation between CFR and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)level(r=0.133,P=0.035),negative correlation between CFR and residual cholesterol(RC)level,CTFC of left anterior descending branch(r=-0.151,P=0.016;r=-0.530,P＜0.001).Logistic regression analysis showed that HDL-C level was a protective factor for CMVD(OR=0.329,95%CI:0.0121-0.898,P=0.030).The area under the ROC curve for CTFC of left anterior descending branch regarding the diagnosis of CMVD was 0.856(95%CI:0.810-0.903),with sensitivity of 70.7%and specificity of 89.1%when the cut-off value of CTFC of left anterior descending branch was≥20.88 frames.Conclusion Coronary artery corrected TIMI frame count has correlations with coronary microvascular function,can be considered as a assistant diagnostic index for CMVD.
