Abstract:Objective To analyze the relationship between pain belief and coping style in patients with cancer pain of advanced lung adenocarcinoma. Methods A total of 98 patients with lung adenocarcinoma admitted to the Zhengzhou Center Hospital Affiliated to Zhengzhou University from January 2019 to August 2022 were selected as the research subjects.Simple coping style questionnaire(SCSQ)was used to evaluate the coping style of patients and the patients were divided into groups. The baseline data questionnaire were designed, and baseline data of all patients were collected and compared. The pain belief[pain belief questionnaire(PBQ)]of patients was compared, and the relationship between pain belief and coping style in patients with cancer pain of advanced lung adenocarcinoma was analyzed. Results A total of 98 patients with advanced cancer pain from lung adenocarcinoma were evaluated by SCSQ,and 56 patients(57.14%)had higher negative scores;42 cases(42.86%)had higher positive scores. The visual analog pain(VAS)score and PBQ score of the negative coping group were higher than those of the positive coping group(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the comparison of other data between the groups(P>0.05).The results of the bivariate Pearson linear correlation test showed that pain belief was negatively correlated with positive coping(r<0,P<0.05),and positively correlated with negative coping(r>0,P<0.05).Through multiple regression analysis, the results showed that high VAS score and high PBQ score were negative influencing factors for coping styles in patients with advanced lung adenocarcinoma pain(OR>1,P<0.05).Conclusion The coping style of patients with advanced stage cancer pain in lung adenocarcinoma tends to be more negative, closely related to their pain beliefs.
