Abstract:Objective To analyze the factors related to Klebsiella Pneumoniae resistance in hospitalized neurosurgery patients. Methods A total of 303 hospitalized patients with Klebsiella Pneumoniae infection after surgery in the neurosurgery Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinxiang Medical College from October 2017 to October 2022 were selected as the study objects.According to the drug sensitivity test results, they were divided into multidrug-resistant group and non-multidrug-resistant group, and clinical data were collected, and univariate analysis and multivariate regression analysis were used to evaluated the factors associated with infection with multidrug-resistant Klebsiella Pneumoniae. Results Univariate analysis results showed that there were differences between the multidrug-resistant group and the non-multidrug-resistant group in terms of hospital stay, the use of carbapenem, and third and fourth-generation cephalosporin antimicrobials(P<0.05).Multifactorial results showed that the use of carbapenems and the use of third and fourth generation cephalosporins were risk factors for multidrug-resistant Klebsiella Pneumoniae infection. Conclusion The use of carbapenems and the third and fourth generation of cephalosporins is a risk factor for multiple drug resistance of Klebsiella Pneumoniae in inpatients undergoing neurosurgery.
