Abstract:Objective To retrieve, evaluate and summarize the relevant evidence of radiation protection after 125I-seed implantation in cancer patients, and to provide evidence-based evidence for the radiation protection of patients, caregivers and nursing staff. Methods The domestic and foreign evidence-based databases, guidelines, expert consensus, clinical decisions, best practices, evidence summary, and system evaluation on radiation protection for cancer patients after 125I-seed implantation published on the association website were systematically searched. The search time was from the establishment of each database to July 5,2022.Two researchers evaluated the methodological quality of the included literature, and then extracted, summarized and graded the evidences. Results A total of 7 articles were included, including 5 expert consensus and 2 clinical decisions.A total of 22 pieces of evidence were formed in the following five aspects:ward setting of cancer patients after 125I-seed implantation,self-protection of nursing staff,self-protection of nursing staff during hospitalization, home protection of patients and nursing staff after discharge, and protection of patients for traveling. Conclusion Radiation injury after iodine-125 seed implantation can be prevented by standardizing ward setting and physical protection,so as to reduce radiation injury.
