Abstract:Objective To investigate the abnormal expression of DNAJC7 in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)and its impact on patient prognosis. Methods The gene expression data of DNAJC7 and clinical data of HCC patients were obtained from the cancer genome atlas program(TCGA).Kaplan-Meier survival curve analysis and univariate and multivariate Cox regression analysis were used to explore the relationship between DNAJC7 and the prognosis of HCC patients.GO and KEGG gene enrichment analysis was used to to investigate the signaling pathways that DNAJC7 may participate in the biological progression of HCC.Results DNAJC7 was upregulated in HCC tissue. The Kaplan-Meier survival curve indicated that high expression of DNAJC7 was associated with the prognosis of HCC patients.Univariate and multivariate analyses indicated that DNAJC7 can serve as an independent prognostic risk factor for HCC patients.GO and KEGG analysis revealed that signaling pathways related to cell adhesion,RNA splicing, and cadherin binding may be involved in the malignant progression of HCC through DNAJC7.Conclusion The high expression of DNAJC7 is associated with poor prognosis in HCC patients and can become a prognostic marker and therapeutic target for HCC.
