Clinical observation on treatment of 40 cases of senile vertebrobasilar insufficiency vertigo with the method of tonic-deficiency and blood-activating and phlegm-removing therapy

Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical effect of tonic-deficiency and blood-activating and phlegm-removing prescription on senile vertebrobasilar insufficiency vertigo.Methods Forty patients with senile vertebrobasilar insufficiency vertigo were randomly divided into control group and treatment group, each 20 cases.The treatment group was treated with western medicine and tonic-deficiency and blood-activating and phlegm-removing method, and then the data were analyzed and compared before and after treatment.Results The total effective rate was 95.0% in the treatment group and 80.0% in the control group, the clinical curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect on the patients with senile vertebrobasilar insufficiency vertigo treating with tonic-deficiency and blood-activating and phlegm-removing therapy is obvious, which is worthy to be further popularized and used in clinical practice.
