Abstract:Objective To compare the labor analgesia effect of different concentration of ropivacaine and sufentanil, and to research the best combination scheme. Methods 120 primiparas were divided randomly and averagely into three groups, group Ⅰ: ropivacaine 0.05% plus sufentanil 0.25 μg/ml, group Ⅱ: ropivacaine 0.10% plus sufentanil 0.50 μg/ml, group Ⅲ: ropivacaine 0.125% plus sufentanil 0.50 μg/ml.All patients were given epidural anesthesia plus PCA pattorn with double-blind comparative study. The first labor dosage, time of taking effect, satisfactory of parturients, modified bormage scores (MBS), visual analogscale(VAS), duration of the second stage of labor and mode of delivery were recorded. Results Compared group Ⅰwith group Ⅱ, the degree of motor block were not different(P>0.05), but the analgesia effect was significantly higher in group Ⅱ than group Ⅰ(P<0.05).Compared group Ⅱ with group Ⅲ, the stage of labor and mode of delivery were not different(P>0.05), but rate of mild motor block of parturients was remarkably higher in group Ⅲ than group Ⅱ(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect on Ropivacaine 0.10% plus sufentanil 0.50 μg/ml for epidural labor analgesia is good, motor nerve block is slight, and it recommended as the current use of reasonable dosage.
