Abstract:Objective To compare the clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of Fluorouracil combined with Cisplatin (PF) regimen and Docetaxel combined with Cisplatin and Fluorouracil (mTPF) regimen in first-line treatment of postoperatively recurrent head and neck squamous cell carcinomas. Methods 33 patients with postoperatively recurrent head and neck squamous cell carcinoma were selected from March 2014 to September 2016 in Henan Provincial People''s Hospital, treated with PF or mTPF regimen, repeated every three weeks, and retrospectively analyzed recent clinical efficacy and adverse reactions after 4 cycles. Results The objective response rate was 77.8% in mTPF group and 40.0% in PF group, and there was statistically different between the two groups(P<0.05).The myelosuppression was more severe in mTPF group than in PF group(P<0.05), and other adverse reactions had no statistical difference in two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion mTPF regimen had better clinical efficacy than PF regimen in postoperatively recurrent head and neck squamous cell carcinomas and adverse reactions can be tolerated.
