Abstract:Objective To compare any differences on corneal curvature measurement by the auto-refractor, partial coherence interferometry (IOL Master) and Oculus Pentacam (Pentacam) and give consistency evaluations on three instruments. Methods The vertical and horizontal curvature of the anterior corneal and their average values on 82 juvenile myopia patients were measured in KaiFeng Central Hospital Eye Specialist from February 2014 to December 2015.Staff who was responsible for this, which were measured three times in both eyes through these three instruments. The measurement parameters were statistically analyzed with SPSS 17.0 software. Results There are no significant differences in three instruments in terms of vertical and horizontal corneal curvature and mean values(P>0.05).Conclusion There are no significant differences on measurement of the auto-refractor, IOL master and Pentacam, which has good consistency and can be used alternatively. As they all have their own advantages, clinicians can choose one of the three for testing according to their hospitals'' and patients'' circumstances.
