Abstract:Objective To explore the effects of evidence-based nursing on the incidence of arrhythmia and cardiac function in elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction. Methods 60 elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction were randomly divided into observation group and control group in the First People's Hospital of Shangqiu City from July of 2014 to January of 2016, and 30 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given evidence-based nursing on the basis of routine nursing. The incidence of arrhythmia, cardiac function classification, hospitalization time and costs were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of arrhythmia, hospitalization time and costs were lower in the observation group than control group, and the cardiac function classification was better than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Evidence-based nursing has good effects on the elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction. It can effectively reduce the incidence of arrhythmia, improve the heart function, accelerate the recovery process, and reduce the economic burden.
