Abstract:Objective To investigate the hemodynamics clinical stage of the contralateral eye of the patients with non - ar-teritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy(NAION). Methods 58 patients with NAION were divided into the NAION eye group (58 eyes with NAION before treatment),the contralateral eye group(58 eyes without NAION before treatment),and the control group(blank control group,58 eyes). The eyesight, visual field and hemodynamic parameters of all the patient were measured before and after treatment, and hemodynamic parameters included peak systolic velocity(PSV),end diastolic velocity(EDV), resistance index(RI)of ophthalmic artery(OA),central artery of retina(CRA),and short posterior ciliary artery(SPCA). Re-sults The RI of SPCA of the contralateral eye group was higher than the control group, and the RI of OA,CRA,SPCA in the contralateral eye group were lower than the NAION eye group before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0. 05). The PSV of OA,CRA,SPCA was lower in the contralateral eye group before treatment than after treatment(P <0. 05),and the hemodynamic parameters of RI had no significant difference(P > 0. 05). The eyesight got great progress of the contralateral eye after treatment, but there was no statistically significant difference(P > 0. 05). Conclusion The change of he-modynamic parameters of the contralateral eye of NAION could be found, and it could be improved after efficiently treament.
