Comparison of different operation methods in the treatment of angle -closure glaucoma with cataract

Abstract：Objective To compare the efficacy between phacoemulsification combined with goniosynechialysis and phacoe-mulsification combined with trabeculectomy in the treatment of angle -closure glaucoma with cataract.Methods In 31 cases (31 eyes)of angle -closure glaucoma with cataract,there were 1 7 patients underwent phacoemulsification combined with goniosyn-echialysis (goniosynechialysis group)and 1 4 patients underwent phacoemulsification combined with trabeculectomy (trabeculec-tomy group).The intraocular pressure,vision,anterior chamber depth were detected and compared before and after surgery.The complications after surgery were recorded.The results were statistically analyzed.Results The vision,intraocular pressure,an-terior chamber depth changed more significantly in both groups after surgery (P <0.01 ).Between two groups,the intraocular pressure,vision,anterior chamber depth and anterior chamber angle had no significant difference (P >0.05).The complication in goniosynechialysis group was less than trabeculectomy group(P <0.05).Conclusion The phacoemulsification combined with goniosynechialysis is the surgical method which is more safety and effective.
