Effects of PCS embedded analgesic infusion system on depression patients with severe cancer pain

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effects of PCS embedded analgesic infusion system on depression patients with se-vere cancer pain.Methods 92 depression patients with severe cancer pain were randomly divided into three groups.42 in con-ventional group were treated with opioid drugs,28 in transdermal Fentanyl group were treated with transdermal Fentanyl,22 in PCS group were treated with PCS embedded analgesic infusion system.NRS scores,Hamilton scores and plasma 5 -HT were tested after 28 -day treatments and before treatment.Results NRS scores and Hamilton scores in PCS group were significantly decreased according to increasing plasma 5 -HT compared with the other groups(P <0.05).Conclusion PCS embedded anal-gesic infusion system has notable efficacy for depression patients with severe cancer pain.
