Abstract:Objective To study the value of hematoxylin and eosin(HE)combined with p16 immunohistochemistry(IHC) staining used in cervical cancer screening. Methods HE and IHC staining was used to detect 243 cervical biopsy specimens. The results were valuated by two pathologists. Results The results of HE staining were 166 cases of non -CIN,45 cases of CINⅠ,12 cases of CINⅡ,16 cases of CINⅢ,4 cases of SCC.The results of HE staining were retrospectively analyzed according to p16 staining results, and 28 cases of cervical lesions were identified in 166 cases of non CIN,including 12 cases of CINⅠ, 6 cases of CINⅡ,10 cases of CINⅢ.Conclusion p16 IHC staining can decrease the rate of missed diagnosis and improve the sensitivity of HE staining.HE staining combined with p16 IHC staining has very important practical value in cervical cancer screening.
