Abstract:Objective To investigate the correlation between adiponectin and liver fibrosis in patients with chronic hepatitis B.Methods Totally 30 cases of patients with hepatic fibrosis,30 patients with cirrhosis and 30 healthy subjects were enrolled in the study.Liver fibrosis and cirrhosis patients accepted antiviral therapy with entecavir. All subjects were included in the study on the same day,24 weeks,48 weeks to detect all objects of liver function, serum adiponectin levels and hepatic fibrosis. The correlation between adiponectin and AST/ALT,TBA,and liver fibrosis indexes were compared between the groups. The patients with hepatic fibrosis and cirrhosis were divide into improvement group and non -improvement group and the serum adiponectin levels were compared. Results ①At different time points, the levels of serum adiponectin was highest in healthy people,fol-lowed by hepatic fibrosis group and hepatic cirrhosis.,and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05);②Adiponectin levels were positively correlated with AST/ALT,TBA,PC,LN,CⅣ,and HA (P <0.05);③The serum adiponectin level in the improvement group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P <0.05).Conclusion The level of serum adi-ponectin is increased with the development of hepatic fibrosis and cirrhosis;adiponectin levels are significantly correlated with the degree of deterioration of liver function and liver fibrosis, and the level of adiponectin is significantly decreased in patients who receive antiviral therapy.
