Preliminary application of S -DetectTM technology in the diagnosis of benign and malignant breast lesions

Abstract：Objective To explore clinical value of the S -DetectTM technology in the diagnosis of benign and malignant breast lesions.Methods The data of 48 cases of benign and malignant breast lesions examined by S -DetectTM technology and defi-nitely diagnosed by pathology were retrospectively analyzed.Kappa statistics was applyed to evaluate consistency,checking Kap-pa value of pathological diagnosis results and S -DetectTM diagnosis results,and the sensitivity,specificity,accuracy were ana-lyzed.Results In the 48 cases,pathological diagnosis showed 42 cases of benign lesions and 6 cases of malignant lesions,and S -DetectTM diagnosis showed 38 cases of benign lesions and 10 cases of malignant lesions.Based on the pathological diagnosis results,consistency checking Kappa value of S -DetectTM diagnosis results was 0.704.The sensitivity of S -DetectTM technology in the diagnosis of malignancy was 100%,the specificity was 90.5%,and the accuracy was 91.7%.Conclusion S -DetectTM technology contributes to the differential diagnosis of breast tumors.Moreover,S -DetectTM technology has high accuracy,easy -operation,and clear reporting results,worthy to be promoted.
