Abstract:Objective To study the preventive effect of preventive monitoring sheet on wound infection in patients undergoing emergency operation. Methods 2 000 patients undergoing emergency operation from December of 201 2 to December of 201 4 were selected and divided into two groups according to a random number table method,1 000 cases in each group. The control group was given conventional surgery and the appropriate nursing interventions in accordance with previous work experience to as-sess the risk factors, while the study group was given nursing interventions according to preventive monitoring sheet.Postoperative infection rates in two groups were calculated, and the degree of nursing satisfaction was surveyed. Results After surgery, the infection rates in study group and control group were 1 3.00% and 1 9.32% respectively. The infection rate in study group was lower than control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05).The degrees of nursing satisfaction in study group and control group were 97.30% and 84.40% respectively, and the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion Preventive monitoring sheet can effectively reduce the wound infection rates after emergency operation, and improve the degrees of nursing satisfaction.
