Research on radioprotective effects of self -made vitamin E & glycerol suspension on radiation -induced skin damage

Abstract：Objective To study the radioprotective effects of self -made vitamin E &glycerol suspension on radiation -in-duced skin damage.Methods 200 patients who accepted radiotherapy were divided into two groups according to different skin protectant.Research group (1 00 cases):the suspension which consisted of vitamin E,glycerol and pure water;control group (1 00 cases):triethanolamine cream (biafine).Radiation -induced skin damage of the two groups were analyzed via software SPSS 1 7.0.Results The two group showed slight skin damage (Ⅰ or Ⅱ)mostly,and the proportions of the third -degree damage in research group and control group were 1 0.0% and 1 5.0% respectively,and there was no significant difference.Con-clusion The radioprotective effects of self -made vitamin E &glycerol suspension is similar to biafine.Furthermore,the sus-pension has a high performance -price ratio and it is worthy of promotion.
