Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of radio -chemotherapy combined with targeted therapy on advanced bile duct cancer. Methods 126 patients with advanced bile duct cancer from May of 2013 to May of 2014 in the First Affiliated Hos-pital of Zhengzhou University were selected for retrospective analysis and divided into the treatment group(n =64)and the control group(n =62)according to different treatment methods. The control group were treated with radio -chemotherapy while the treat-ment group was treated with radio -chemotherapy combined with targeted therapy. The clinical total effective rates and adverse reaction rates of two groups were observed and compared. Results In the treatment group, there were 13 cases of complete re-mission,28 cases of partial remission,19 cases of stable disease and 4 cases of disease progression;the clinical total effective rate was 64.06%(41 /64).And there were 15 cases of side effects with the occurrence rate of side toxic reaction for 23.44%(15 /64).Compared with control group, the clinical total effective rate of treatment group was higher and the occurrence rate of side toxic reaction was lower, and the differences were statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of ad-vanced bile duct cancer,Radio -chemotherapy combined with targeted therapy can effectively improve the efficacy and reduce the adverse reaction. Its effect is better than simple chemotherapy. It deserves the clinical expansion.
