Abstract:Objective To observe the promoting effect of unprotected perineum midwifery method on spontaneous delivery. Methods 178 primiparas with single - fetal head pregnancy were selected and randomly divided into observation group and con-trol group,89 cases in each group. The observation group was given unprotected perineum midwifery method, and control group was given traditional midwifery method. The situation of puerperas and neonates in two groups was compared. Results There was no difference in the rate of asphyxia and average weight of neonates between observation group and control group(P > 0. 05). The rate of perineal side incision, the degree of perineal laceration and the rate of perineal edema in observation group was lower than control group(P < 0. 05). Conclusion Unprotected perineum midwifery method had a promoting effect on spontaneous de-livery with high safety. It deserves the clinical expansion.
