Statistical analysis of medical novelty retrieval in Henan Province from 2005 to 2014

Abstract：The medical novelty retrieval items of Henan Province Medical Information Institute from 2005 to 2014 were statis-tically analyzed through the annual amount,purpose,search scope,commissioned time,subjects of novelty retrieval and regional distribution of clients. The status and problems of novelty retrieval were summarized,and how to improve the ability of sci-tech novelty service,extension of novelty search service content and maKe evaluation on better service for scientific research are proposed.
