Abstract：Objective To analyze the occupational hazards,the extent of injury and the critical control points. Methods Analog method and the empirical method were applied for identifying occupational hazards and the extent of injury. Results The main occupational risK factors existing in the coal gasification project were chemicals,noise,high temperature and ionizing radia-tion,carbon monoxide,methanol,ammonia,phenol hydrogen sulfide,tar,methane,sodium hydroxide,sulfur dioxide,ben-zene,naphthalene,anthracene,isopropyl ether,benzpyrene,cyanide,et al. Conclusion There were lots of occupational risK factors with serious harm in the coal gasification project. Effective measures should be taKen and be strengthened.
