Preventive effects of nursing intervention on postoperative uroschesis in female patients with lumbar disc protrusion

Abstract:Objective To investigate the preventive effects of nursing intervention on postoperative uroschesis in female pa-tients with lumbar disc protrusion. Methods 59 female patients with lumbar disc protrusion treated in Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December of 2013 to December of 2014 were randomly divided into control group and intervention group. Control group(29 patients)were given routine nursing,and intervention group(30 patients)were given nursing intervention. The nursing efficacies and degrees of satisfaction were compared between two groups. Results Compared with control group,the incidences of postoperative uroschesis and catheterization in intervention group were significantly lower and the degrees of satisfaction was significantly higher,and the differences were statistically significant(P﹤0. 05). Conclusion Nursing intervention could reduce the incidences of postoperative uroschesis and catheterization,relieve the pain of patients and improve the degrees of satisfaction.
