Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical significance of B-type natriuretic peptide( BNP)changes in the recent prognosis evaluation of acute myocardial infarction( AMI)patients with non-diabetic irritable hyperglycosemia. Methods 89 AMI patients were enrolled from Wugang People’s Hospital and classified into 2 groups according to the results of blood glucose test. There were 46 AMI patients with non-diabetic irritable hyperglycosemia( the research group)and 43 AMI patients without non-diabetic irritable hyperglycosemia group( the control group). The blood glucose,BNP and mean heart beats were detected for 24 hours after admission. The cardiac function tests and the 24 hours dynamic electrocardiogram detection were performed for 2 weeks after admission. The incidences of malignant arrhythmia, heart failure and cardiogenic shock with 2 weeks were ob-served. Results The blood glucose, plasma BNP levels and the average heart rate in the research group were significantly higher than the control group(P﹤0. 05). The differences on the incidence rates of malignant arrhythmia, heart failure and cardiogenic shock between the research group and the control groups were statistically significant(P﹤0. 05). In the research group, the left ventricular ejection fraction( LVEF)and the left ventricular fractional shortening( LVFS)were lower than those in control group (P﹤0. 05). Conclusion The serum levels of BNP were helpful for evaluating the recent prognosis and could be used as risk indicators for the AMI patients with non-diabetic irritable hyperglycosemia.
