Meth-ods 756 cases receiving intrauterine insemination were divided into four groups:IUI before ovulation in natural cycles( group A);IUI after ovulation in natural cycles(group B);IUI before ovulation in stimulate cycles(group C);IUI after ovulation in stimulate cycles( group D). The pregnant rates and abortion rates were compared. Results There were no significant differences in sperm concentration between four groups. The clinical pregnancy rates of four groups were 10. 9%、10. 0%、15. 9%、19. 4%respectively. There was a significant difference between group B and D. The abortion rates were 0,6. 2%,16. 1%,17. 8%, and the differences were not statistically significant. Conclusion IUI before or after ovulation could be carried out in both natu-ral and stimulate cycles, but IUI after ovulation in stimulate cycles had a higher pregnancy rate.
