Correlation between serum levels of neopterin,high -sensitivity C -reactive protein and coronary artherosclerosis

Abstract：Objective To investigate the correlation between serum levels of neopterin,high -sensitivity C -reactive protein (hs -CRP)and coronary artherosclerosis.Methods 88 patients with coronary artherosclerosis treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from August of 201 3 to November were selected and examined by coronary arteriongraphy.All patients were divided into A,B,C group according to the Gensini scores <20,20 to 40,more than 40.Serum levels of neop-terin and hs -CRP were detected,and the relationship between plasma neopterin,hsCRP and the degreee of coronary artery le-sions.Results The surum levels of neopterin and hs -CRP of group B,C were higher than group A,and the levels of group C were higher than group B,the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05).Conclusion Serum levels of neopterin and hs -CRP can reflect the degree of coronary atherosclerosis.
