Comparative analysis of the comfort of the patients undergoing gynecological operation when indwelling catheter before and after anesthesia

Abstract：Objective To compare the comfort of the patients undergoing gynecological operation when indwelling catheter before and after anesthesia.Methods 120 patients undergoing gynecological operation were selected in Huangpu People’s Hos-pital of Zhongshan City from January to October in 2014.The patients were divided to group A (intubation before epidural anes-thesia),group B (intubation after epidural anesthesia),group C (intubation before general anesthesia)and group D (intubation after general anesthesia)according to the mode of anesthesia and intubation time,30 patients in each group.The comforts of each group were observed in.Results The comforts of group B and D were significantly better than group A and C before intu-bation (P <0.05).The comforts of group A and C was significantly better than group B and D after intubation (P <0.05). Conclusion The comforts of the patients undergoing gynecological operation when indwelling catheter before anesthesia was su-perior to after anesthesia.
