Abstract:Objective To evaluate the effect of alanyl -glutamine and microecological preparations on postoperative humoral immune function of patients with esophageal carcinoma. Methods 90 patients with esophageal carcinoma were randomly divided into the study group and the control group. Both groups received standard enteralnutrition, and patients in study group were smi-ultaneously added with alanylglutamine solution (20 g per day)and intestine microecologic agents (golden bifido)after the oper-ation,but the control group did not receive those. The IgA,IgG and IgMwere measured on preoperative, the 2nd and 7th postoper-ative day. Results The levels of IgM,IgG were (14.89 ±1.77)g/L,(2.30 ±0.63)g/L in the study group on the 7th postop-erative day, which were significantly higher than those in control group (11.41 ±2.11 )g/L,(2.18 ±0.77)g/L (All P <0.05).Conclusion Alanyl -glutamine and microecological preparations can improve postoperative intestinal mucosal barrieral function and humoral immune function in patients with esophageal carcinoma.
